TUNA WITH PASTA

TUNA  WITH  PASTA:
INGREDIENTS:             (serves 2)

200  g tuna  steak
200  g penne pasta, boiled
3  g  cumin powder
3  g  finely-chopped garlic
2  tsp  lemon juice
1  tsp  butter
1  tsp  fresh coriander, finely chopped
30  ml  extra -virgin olive oil
50  g  tomato sauce
Salt and pepper, to taste

METHOD:

  • Cut fresh tuna fillet into slices and marinate with salt, pepper, coriander, cumin, garlic, lemon juice and olive oil for two hours or overnight.
  • Grill till cooked. Toss pasta in tomato sauce. Reduce lemon juice in a pan and add butter. Add salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Pour the lemon-butter mixture on the tuna steak and serve with pasta.
